Christian Churches United is an ecumenical

over 140 member churches in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry

OUT OF THE COLD - 2012
JANUARY 13TH-JANUARY 14TH 7:30pm - 7:00am at CCU
This is a chance for our young people to find out more about the issue of homelessness by experiencing just a little of how some homeless are sheltered. It is a sleepover with information, facts, figures, service project; a night without benefit of phones, TV, etc. but time to get connected.

HUNGER BANQUET - 2012
MARCH 17, 2012 - REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 11:30AM
COST IS $10 PER PERSON; $5 FOR STUDENTS
Meal begins at 12:00pm
Hunger is becoming more of an issue in this, one of the most advanced nations in the world! But things can slip so easily. We hope that you will have groups join with us as we experience hunger in our community among plenty but also understand that each one of us can and should play a part in reducing hunger in our community.

LEND A HAND
Volunteers for Reconstruction Needed for LEND A HAND
Lend A Hand volunteers have almost completed the pumping, cleaning up, pressure washing, and sanitizing of all homes on our list in the Central Pennsylvania region. A huge THANK YOU to the volunteers who participated! The next phase will involve the reconstruction of the damaged homes. The list of homes for reconstruction, as well as materials needed, will be determined beginning the week of September 26th. Once this information has been compiled, we need YOU to assist with the reconstruction effort!
